Application

VACUETTE^®Trace Element Tubes are used for determinations in serum / heparinised plasma for the determination of trace elements.

NH tubes with royal blue cap are recommended.

Materials

VACUETTE^®Trace Element Tubes are made out of PET (polyethylenetherephtalate). The caps are produced

from PE (polyethylene) and are coloured. The rubber component of the cap is composed of Brom Butyl Caoutchouc.
The stabilisation ring is composed of PP (polypropylene).

Packaging

Tubes are packed in 50 pieces per rack wrapped with a polyethylene foil. Tubes are packed in 24 racks of 50 tubes. Each box is filled with 1200 tubes.

The heparin concentration of VACUETTE^® Plasma Trace Element Tubes is standardised: 12-30 I.U. (International Units) of sodium heparin per 1ml blood (ISO 6710).

The molecular mass is between 3.000 and 30.000 Daltons. VACUETTE® Plasma Trace Element Tubes are clearly identifiable by their dark blue safety cap.
